Description








The Client Finance Coordinator at Supportive Living NW (“SLNW” or the “Company”) performs administrative, client finance, 
and financial data entry duties in support of client funds management. This position maintains accurate financial records, 
coordinates with outside agencies and vendors, and helps ensure client financial needs are handled accurately and timely. The 
Client Finance Coordinator maintains a positive and cooperative working relationship with clients, staff, volunteers, and the 
public while accomplishing assigned duties. This position reports to the Program Director and CEO. 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
● Manage client finances under representative payee requirements, including maintaining accurate records of income, 
expenses, balances, and supporting documentation. 
● Prepare and maintain each client’s Individual Financial Plan to support financial oversight, spending decisions, and 
compliance with program requirements. 
● Monitor client resources, spending, and benefit eligibility, including coordination with SSA, VA, LTC, DDCS, and other 
agencies or vendors. 
● Review, approve, or deny client fund requests based on available resources, client needs, and program requirements. 
● Submit financial requests when needed, track payments received from DDCS and other funding sources and follow up 
with vendors as necessary. 
● Establish and maintain client financial accounts, including burial plans, ABLE accounts, and other account types. 
● Enter financial activity into QuickBooks, reconcile client accounts monthly, and ensure files are complete, accurate, 
and audit ready. 
● Process bill payments and other approved disbursements on behalf of clients in a timely and accurate manner. 
● Other duties as needed based on the evolving business needs 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES 
● Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts, deadlines, and priorities. 
● Ability to maintain accurate financial records and complete detailed data entry with a high level of accuracy. 
● Knowledge of basic accounting practices, reconciliations, and financial documentation. 
● Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients, guardians, staff, agencies, and vendors. 
● Proficiency with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks or similar accounting software. 
● Ability to work independently, use sound judgment, and handle confidential information appropriately.
 
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE
● Minimum of a high school diploma, associate degree preferred; 
● At least two (2) years of professional experience preferred; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu 
of a degree. 
● Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities and families preferred; knowledge of disability benefits 
preferred. 
● Valid NAC, NAR, or HCA credential required. Must be able to pass a background check and maintain a clean driving 
record, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS. The Client Finance Coordinator position will typically experience frequent sitting, fingering, 
grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. Occasional lifting of 50 lbs. Occasional bending, twisting, stooping, 
squatting, pushing, pulling, standing, crawling, reaching, walking, driving, traveling, kneeling, and crouching. 

WORK ENVIRONMENT. This office-based position. Office duties are performed in a professional setting, while fieldwork 
includes visiting clients' homes, overseeing care, and possibly assisting with client care or transportation. Travel within the 
service area is required, and the role may involve exposure to various home environments. Flexibility and reliable 
transportation are essential. Sound level – moderate. Temperature – moderate
